I thought i'd found a great new blog SW but in in just trying to validate this links page .. there are 274 errors... :( ... I don't want to spend time learning a new blog sw only for the code not to validate. Does your bloggind sw code output validate? Or is the code on this page down to the webmaster? very interested to know.

Hi Tina,
by using Inserit modules you'll be integrating a set of components into your pages, what needs validation is the content and styles you apply to such components, not the components themselves. That is, whether the final outcome validates or not will solely depend on the site's designer, Inserit has no deal over it.
As regards Inblogit, we purposely chose not to offer strict XHTML templates so as to make them more accessible to everybody. There's a gazillion better sites offering amazing templates so we didn't want to concentrate on that point.
Our first Inserit modules will be available this week, you're more than welcome to check them out and see whether our application can be of some help to you.

Nice comprehensive list. I'm quite fascinated with the amount of books that are being released on these subjects and the huge success (worldwide) they seem to be having. Zen of CSS design is a brilliant book, and so is it's author. The blog site related to the book (or the other way around) is excellent, and I visit there quite a lot. There are really some fantastic design ideas represented there and here. Thanks for this excellent list, keen to check it as soon as possible!
