What will be, will be

While undertaking some serious, thorough and extremely boring research of the latest breakthrough Internet companies currently surfing and leading the wave, it struck us the significant amount of them that ended up offering what was never planned in any strategy meeting.

In fact, there isn't anything to be surprised about. The myriad of possibilities Internet provides makes it possible for the new sprouting companies to adapt and offer its users what they really need in real time. Now, we're not saying that doesn't happen in the everyday, outside-the-web world -- what we're saying is that it certainly doesn't happen that whooping fast.

Such is the case of Flickr, and we're pulling a random name out of a hat here, that started out as a multiuser chat room with real-time photo sharing capabilities and soon turned its head to greener pastures impelled by the specific needs of its users. Did it ever cross their minds the thought of building the -and we're only stating our humble opinion here- best online free photo management app on the market? Don't even bother answering that one. It's a plain no.

So we can't help but wonder, what will Inserit look like in, let's say, a year? To tell you the truth, we're not losing our sleep over it as long as we keep giving our customers what they came looking for. Because we owe them what we are. It's their show from start to finish.
